Cleaning House: Dutch cabinet toughens naturalisation rules

Under the radar changes. Why bring in another person who can drive the bus. Or a person with little or no interest in doing anything - except to continue to live as they did in the old country - only under the Dutch state - who would be asked to pay for this and not to complain.

Reality Check!!

Countries across Europe are high in debt - with high or relatively high unemployment - while still taking on immigrants, many of whom have no interest in serving their new countries.

Like the French leader Sarkozy said, we cannot take everybody who sees France as the Paradise - the name given to Europe, by those in North Africa.

Two Nationalities Loyalty Question Mark?

The dual nationalist is an absolute joke - 80% of the Dutch-Muslim hold dual nationality.

One of the legal obstacles, is that Morocco makes it impossible [read: difficult] for a citizen of that country to give up their citizenship. There has already been one case of spying for that country - the question of loyalty does arise where Dutch-Muslims wish to become politicians and hold other key positions in the state.

The country is being used as a bus stop!
Where free meals are offered.

The Moroccan government - presents the Dutch state with a list of acceptable [Islamic] names for Dutch-Moroccan babies born in the country!!

A little bit too much control!

The Dutch request for loyalty is not asking for too much!!

Foreigners who wish become Dutch citizens will be required to earn at least a minimum income under a new law the Dutch government proposed on Friday.

They will also need to have two years of vocational training or have sufficient work experience. In addition they will have to surrender their original nationality, whenever that is legally possible.

The proposed legislation will still have to be passed by both houses of parliament.
