This Wikileaks report ~ is a confirmation of what is being said about Erdogan/Turkey aims ~ but with a few extra details.

Before entering government, [PM Erdogan] said: "Democracy is like a train. We shall get out when we arrive at the station we want."

Many high-ranking state officials have told the Americans they are appalled by Erdogan's staff. Erdogan, ..appointed a man exhibiting "incompetence, prejudices and ignorance" as his undersecretary. ..Women's Minister Nimet Çubukçu, an advocate of criminalizing adultery, got her job because she is a friend Erdogan's wife, Emine. Another minister is accused of nepotism, links to heroin smuggling and a predeliction for underage girls.

The Turk wanted to criminalize adultery ~ though it was the Europeans who talked them down ~ it could mean that ~ if they were allowed to join Europe ~ EU citizens visiting the country could be imprisoned for relations outside of marriage.

At the moment EU accession is being used as a way to temper Turkey ~ but once they have that ~ what might the EU use to control these Islamic-type laws and behavior. A Turkey in Europe would require special attention. And if for Erdogan at least ~ democracy is like a train ~ Europe may very well be the stop where he wants to get off.

Under Erdogan, relations with Israel have dramatically deteriorated.... The Israeli ambassador to Ankara, Gabby Levy, claimed in October 2009 that Erdogan was behind the cooling of relations: "He's a fundamentalist. He hates us religiously," Levy was quoted as saying in a confidential US embassy dispatch from October 2009.

I know Turkey is helping Israel to put out its fires ~ obviously there is and has been a working relationship ~ but from an Islamist point of view this all changes. The Turkish raised eyebrows when they offered to help with Israeli-Palestinian issue saying, the US needed to engage Hamas for a 'final solution'. [+]

Some AKP politicians, according to a US assessment, support Turkish membership in the EU for "murky" and "muddled" reasons, for example because they believe Turkey must spread Islam in Europe. A US dispatch from late 2004 reports that a member of a leading AKP think tank said that Turkey's role is "to take back Andalusia and avenge the defeat at the siege of Vienna in 1683."

In preparation to enter Europe ~ they have instructed the women to have a minimum of 3-4 children, placing Turkey in a position to be the largest nation in Europe ~ where population size matters ~ would possibly hold some of the most sway ~ over EU affairs. Erdogan has already told the Turks in Europe not to integrate:~ so he enters Europe ~ in control of one of the largest countries, while also holding significant influence over an unassimilated diaspora. If you see a bear trap in the woods ~ why walk into it!

Furthermore, a source within the Ministry of Energy told the US that the prime minister pressured the Iranians to ink a gas pipeline deal with a Turkish company owned by an old schoolmate of his. ... Two unnamed US sources claim that Erdogan presides over eight Swiss bank accounts.

Ironically the whole oil pipeline thing ~ is supposed to be one of the attractions/pulls for Europe to accept Turkey ~ and all this is going on.


The one thing about Erdogan is that he is pretty obvious ~ and it is not long before he says exactly what he thinks.

Turk ambitions:

If we could speak about engines ~ Europe is the Rolls Royce ~ it is the engine that Turkish hopes will bolster its expansionist ambitions. This is not Europe's business.

It is clear that Muslim nations want the west to accept their intolerance, because these actions either wholly or partially come under the religious banner ~ while at the same time telling the west ~ that it should behave better towards Muslims [in other words, to allow Islamization]. But like the Austrian Minister Ewald Stadler pointed out there is nothing like what is going on in the Islamic world, happening in the west. Even in the UK ~ Anglican clergy have been beaten up and brutalized by Muslim youths.

The Turkish PM did tell German Turks not to integrate ~ on a trip to Germany and it gets worst according to an article by Der Spiegel, the Turks have been toying with the idea of reintroducing the dreaded Islamic jizya tax. Though the writer for Der Spiegel was clinging to everything Islamic ~ he did not understand the significance of the statement and presented the proposed tax as a solution to violence against Christians in that country. The argument was coming from the Turkish side ~ was that under the Ottoman Empire, Christians and Muslims lived side by side [peacefully] ~ for years with the Christians/non-Muslims paying the jizya tax. The best way to describe the jizya tax is like a Mafia tax, you have been living there since heavens knows when ~ and someone comes by and says you need to pay for protection ~ when you say ~ what for ~ next thing your window is broken. That is the Islamic tax, of which its collection ended during western colonization. For the native Christians in the region, today, to have to pay a tax for protection is ridiculous and outright criminal.

Recently the German President ~ on a trip to Turkey told the Turks that the Christians there should have equal rights [to practise their religion]. This is a country that wants to enter Europe!

One of the reasons for the Armenian massacre, was because they started to ask for equal rights. So they killed them all. And to polish the Turkish denial off ~ Erdogan said, No Muslim can commit genocide.


These Muslims are dreaming ~ the idea is that one day they will rule the world ~ but people are attracted to places like America and Europe, on masse, because it offers freedom. Their idea is to trap people in their religion and in their ideology ~ and for the most part it is bankrupt. To prove it ~ that is why we have so many Muslim immigrants ~ literally fleeing its conditions.
Then once they get here ~ then we are supposed to make our countries like the ones they just left. If the Islamic system was so great ~ why did they leave?

New York: December 2, 2010. (PCP) Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President, Pakistan Christian Congress PCC filed a petition for immediate release of Asia Bibi and repeal of Blasphemy law in Pakistan.

Asia Bibi, a Christian mother of five, was sentenced to death by ADSJ of Nankana on accusation of blasphemy filed in Saddar Police Station on complain of local mosque Imam of village Ittanwali.

In his petition, Dr, Nazir Bhatti have invited attention of Mr. Ban Ki-Moon, Secretary General of United Nation on safety of life of Asia Bibi in Seikhupura jail and submitted dozens of incidents of killing of Christians in police or jail custody who were accused of blasphemy.

Nazir Bhatti have feared that Asia Bibi can not have fair trial in Pakistan when Muslim religious groups and Islamic political parties are daily protesting and demanding death for Asia Bibi in public gatherings to pressurize higher courts.

Nazir Bhatti have appealed to Mr. Ban Ki-Moon to press upon government of Pakistan to repeal blasphemy law because its contradictory to Declaration of Universal Human Rights of United Nations on which Islamic Republic of Pakistan is a signatory state.

Built with financial aid from Saudi Arabia, the sprawling facility is home to the London Muslim Center where incendiary preachers are regularly welcomed. On Monday, the East London Mosque hosted a very different kind of visitor—the U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom, Louis Susman. Urged by President Barack Obama to engage with British Muslims, Mr. Susman spoke of his "great admiration" for the mosque and his enthusiasm for meeting its staff.

By any measure the East London mosque is a troubling institution. Last year, for example, it hosted an event titled "The End of Time: A New Beginning," where pamphlets were distributed showing Manhattan crumbling under a Hadean apocalypse of meteors, which shattered the Statute of Liberty asunder and set the city ablaze. One of the invited speakers, Khalid Yasin, described the beliefs of Christians and Jews as "filth." Most worryingly, the event also featured a live video question-and-answer session with Anwar Al Awlaki, the U.S.-born preacher aligned with al Qaeda.

Awlaki's terrorist credentials rival those of Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri. Two of the 9/11 terrorists as well as Major Nidal Hasan, who murdered 13 U.S. soldiers in Fort Hood last year, attended his sermons in Washington. From his new base in Yemen, Awlaki called Major Hasan a "hero" and boasted of having directed the "underpants bomber," Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, in his bid to blow up a Delta airlines flight last Christmas.

Aussie charter opens door to Sharia law recognition

What the heck are they doing down there!!

Section 14 of that charter provides for freedom of religion. The issue then arises, does this mean that Muslims are entitled to have Shariah law applied to them in the Victorian courts?

The question is who is making the decisions. And how is it that a small group of people could ram through a measure with such serious implications.

Freedom of religion ~ and the implementation of a law that makes a billion odd people not-free ~ in the free world ~ has gone past what we understand as rational respect of one to practise their religion.

The only reason such a law would be considered is that we thing that we can maintain control over these people and their religion ~ whereas their aim is to gain control from us.

The people should have a say....


I think the mistake everyone makes is that they think they are different ~ that their situation with Islam is somehow unique!!


THE issue of Sharia law and human rights is rippling around the world.

In the US state of Oklahoma, voters recently approved a proposal that forbids state courts from considering or using international laws, as well as Sharia, or Islamic law.

A US federal judge has suspended the certification of that change to the law because it might breach the constitutional rights of individual Muslims.

In Victoria, the Charter of Human Rights actually permits the use of international laws and judgments in applying the charter.

Section 14 of that charter provides for freedom of religion. The issue then arises, does this mean that Muslims are entitled to have Shariah law applied to them in the Victorian courts?

Obviously, Islam is a religion. Less obvious, but more important is that, unlike Christianity, Islam is a complete religion governing every aspect of the believer's life, including law.

Shariah law is actually an integral part of the Islamic religious belief and, under the charter, must be protected and applied. Section 32(2) of the charter throws more light on the issue.

That subsection states: "International law and the judgments of domestic, foreign and international courts and tribunals relevant to a human right may be considered in interpreting a statutory provision."

Poll: Germans feel threatened by Islam

A survey shows Germans are less tolerant of Muslims than their western European neighbors.

The University of Muenster published a poll Thursday that said only 34 percent of Germans in the west of the country and 26 percent in eastern Germany think positively of Muslims. In comparison, 62 percent of Dutch, 56 percent of French, 55 percent of Danes and 47 percent of Portuguese hold positive attitudes on Muslims.

In western Germany, less than 30 percent favor allowing new mosques to be built, and less than 20 percent in the east. By contrast, more than half of the population in Denmark and two-thirds in France, the Netherlands and Portugal approve of building new mosques.

The survey polled 1,000 people in each country and each part of Germany. No margin of error was given. AP
