Montreal man 71 kills daughter 13 for not Islamic prayers - Video

He kills his daughter ~ then calls the police. Which is what you would do if you killed your daughter in the Islamic world. But this is where it all changes, in the Islamic world he would be let go. A pat on the back ~ as it would be understood that he was only acting in defense of his family's honor!

What's next ~ is likely an unmarked grave for the girl ~ to complete this cleansing.

The bail hearing for Moussa Sidimé has been postponed for the second time in less than a week. Sidimé, 71, is charged with aggravated assault in connection with the death of his 13-year-old daughter, Noutené.

He was arrested at his home on Oct. 6 after he called 911 to report his daughter was hurt. When officers arrived they found the girl lying on the floor unconscious with her nose bleeding. She died three days later in hospital in Montreal.

Sidimé allegedly told officers he'd slapped his daughter.

Cause of death still not clear

Preliminary autopsy results on Noutené's body were inconclusive, and the defence raised this point on Wednesday when pleading for Sidimé's release. Marie-Josée Duhaime told Quebec Court Judge Ellen Paré that "the burden of proof is on the Crown to prove [Sidimé] represents a danger and that the death is directly linked to his actions."

Duhaime told reporters after the hearing was postponed that the case was not "black or white" and that there was no reason to keep her client behind bars.

The pathologist who performed the autopsy has sent the report for further analysis and the Crown says it will wait for those results before deciding if more serious charges will be laid against Sidimé. "The investigation is ongoing," said Prosecutor Julie Laborde.

Several witnesses including Sidimé's wife — who is also the mother of Noutené — and two of his sons are expected to testify on his behalf when he returns to court Monday Oct. 25 for his bail hearing.
