Somali government calls Al-shabab, Hizbul Islam to surrender

This guy is burning bags of wheat sent by the US. I suppose Saudi Arabia has some for them. Man can't live on oil alone!

There is malnourishment in the camps ~ children are starving!

MOGADISHU – The authorities of the transitional government of Somali have called for the Islamist fighters of Hizbul Islam and Al-shabab to surrender to the transitional government of Somalia so as to be trained and rehabilitated, official said on Monday.

More than 150 people were killed 200 others wounded during the past 7 days fighting in the Somali capital Mogadishu as both rivals were exchanging heavy gunfire with shelling that had affected most of the civilians in Mogadishu.

Mohamud Ahmed Nor better known as (Tarsan), the governor of Banadir region for the transitional government of Somalia had held press conference for the journalists in capital suggesting for Al-shabab and Hizbul Islam to join the join the Somali government to be trained and rehabilitated.

He said that the young men of Al-shabab and Hizbul Islam were deceived and persuaded fake ideology adding that those whom they kill were their people urging them to forget the plans they murder the civilians pointed out that there was Jihad (Ilamic religion) in Somalia.

The governor had lastly called for the populations not rely on the government calling for the people to attack and protect what he pointed the enemy of Allah.

The statement comes as there had been consecutive clashes between Al-shabab fighters and the transitional government of Somalia for the past eighth days in Mogadishu that caused more casualties of deaths, injuries and large displacement.
