Morocco: Alternative Movement for Individual Freedoms: 'Moroccans for the right not to fast' during Ramadan

Thank you!!

These people need to be freed from this Arab enslavement!!

You are forced to be Muslim ~ like a child.

Najib Chaouki, a young Moroccan from the Alternative Movement for Individual Freedoms, who created a Facebook group 'Moroccans for the right not to fast' poses in Rabat on August 14, 2010. Chaouki followed by many young people, calls for the right not to fast during the month of Ramadan in protest of article 222 of Morocco's penal code which states that a person commonly known to be Muslim who violates the fast in a public place during Ramadan, without having one of the justifications allowed by Islam [such as travelling or sickness], shall be punished by one to six months in prison, as well as a fine.
