At least two people were killed and several others injured when an explosive device went off in the southern Russian city of Kaspiisk in the early hours of Saturday, a source in the Interior Ministry in Dagestan said earlier in the day. The explosion occurred outside the offices of the Juvenile Division of the Interior Ministry located on the first floor of a three-story building set on fire by the attackers. Also overnight unidentified men lobbed a hand grenade at a beerhouse in the Dagestani capital Makhachkala injuring four people. In a separate incident, a police car came under automatic fire in neighboring Ingushetia leaving one riot policeman wounded.
