The idea that clothes could be about something besides religion ~ strikes Muslims as puzzling. People wear sports clothes not only for comfort but for safety.
If the go-kart organizers had said no burqas ~ they would have cried that it was discriminatory.
For example, the burqa is regional piece of clothing, meant to keep the sand out of your face and allow the cool air to circulate under your dress ~ in the desert ~ it would make no sense in the North Pole ~ where Eskimos also dress modestly ~ face and head covering there are needed to stay alive ~ there it is not a silly game of whether or not the Gods want me to wear a head covering ~ it is will I freeze to death if I don't wear it! And we are talking a thin Arabian veil ~ this head covering is going to have to be pretty thick.
A 24-year-old woman has died after her burqa got caught in a moving go-kart near the New South Wales town of Port Stephens.
The woman was driving the go-kart at Bob's Farm and it appears her burqa became caught in the vehicle.
She suffered serious neck and throat injuries and was flown to Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital where she later died.

Great post, thanks!! Now the real problem? What the hell is a woman doing wearing a burka in New South Wales? Saudi Arabia, yes. Australia, no...The relentless march of Islamization continues.
at the man above this comment... how racist of you to speak this way... Australia is known as a multicultural country and you come here and speak like this... its a shame, honestly. why don't we all wear pieces of clothes or leaves on our bodies since Australia was originally and indigenous country? honestly, people like the man above are an embarrassment to the Australian public.
and also the veil isn't "meant to keep the sand out of your face and allow the cool air to circulate under your dress ~ in the desert ~" it is put on to purity and modesty. he woman in the story made a big mistake by keeping her scarf out and she paid a large price for it... i mean she lost her life, but with this, it is a lesson to others who wear it that they must tuck it in so that nothing gets caught. like at movie world or any other place that has rides, they are asked to tuck it in their clothes. so please before you talk and say wrong things like you did, get your facts right.

Get off your high horse! Australia was never a "multicultural" country. This is just nonsense! Some jackass politicians just made this crap up a few decades ago. This foolish woman refused to listen to reason and got what she got!
Hello,
When I design custom invitations, I offer to design custom postage for my clients to complete the look of their invitation package. The party starts when the guests open their invitations, so setting the tone of the party with the invitation is important. But even before the envelope is opened, the first impression the guest has of the invitation is what’s on the outside.
