Loving the leader is like loving God! To turn against the leader is to turn against God ~ a crime punishable by death in the Islamic republic of Iran.
The United States and the European Union say human rights abuses have continued in Iran since last June's election. They fear more government measures aimed against opposition supporters in the run-up to the anniversary of Iran's 1979 Islamic revolution.
Mass arrests of opponent's of the Iranian government followed June's poll which gave President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad contested re-election victory. Death sentences have since been handed down to some opposition supporters.
The US and the EU fear a fresh government crackdown around the Islamic revolution anniversary. Demonstrations both for and against the government have been announced.
Western countries are also increasingly worried about Iran's nuclear ambitions. The government in Tehran recently said it was intensifying its uranium enrichment programme. The US and France have responded by calling for more sanctions against Iran.

How can you expect a people who are not really human to understand the concept of 'human rights'?
I think they are very human ~ though I think aspects of Islam are not.
For example the Prophet called for the rape of captive women ~ and when he saw that his men did not want to rape these women in front of their husbands - he got a message from God ~ which allowed it.

The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives.
Some of the Companions of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Qur’anic verse: (Sura 4:24) "And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess." (Abu Dawud 2150)
But more he told them that if they did not go along with his blessed instruction for brutality - these men would lose their property.
The same thing was used in the conquest of India ~ when many Hindus were held captive by the Islamic invaders ~ they were told that if they don't kill their captives - that they would lose their worldly possessions and worst these would be given to the person who informs on them ~ this led to 100,000 Hindus being slaughtered in a single day!
This is where the fight is ~ if Muslim try to leave Islam they are killed. The aim should be to see that they are set free ~ from this tyranny!! And that Islam will never again have the same power in the world!
