"Chop chop Square" Saudi Arabia: Beheadings with a sword [Video]

"Chop chop Square" - it’s the popular name for a square in the Saudi capital Riyadh, where beheadings take place at 9 a.m. any given day of the week. Executions and other forms of corporal punishments are commonplace in Saudi Arabia.

This week, a young female Saudi TV journalist narrowly escaped 60 lashes for interviewing a man who publicly spoke about indulging in pre-marital sex.
[*correction she said she had nothing to do with the show she was being punished simply for working for the station - one of the Kings brothers/cousins is part owner of the station was not punished for his 'association']
With massive commercial and political interests at stake, Western countries are turning a blind eye to these practices, says our senior foreign affairs analyst Bernard Hammelburg.
