Huge Islamic presence, sparse few Left-Wingers at Stop Islamisation of Europe's Harrow Mosque demonstration in London

The question is where were the Left-wingers at the Harrow Mosque protest today - is it likely that far fewer of those on the Left are buying into the - support Islam at any cost. There seemed to be at least a few 1000 young Muslim men - but you hardly saw anyone else.

Here's what the local paper said:

A DEMONSTRATION against 'fascism' outside Harrow Central Mosque descend into violence and ugly scenes as groups of young Asian [Islamic] men ran amok through Wealdstone.

Despite earlier calls for calm and peace from community and mosque leaders, hundreds chased people through the streets around the mosque and got into scuffles with police.

On The Bridge, close to Harrow and Wealdstone station, the baying crowd of predominantly Asian young men pelted officers in riot gear with rocks, sticks, glass bottles and in some cases, fireworks.

After being forced down from the bridge, the men chased people through the streets and tried to storm Harrow Civic Centre.

More than 1000 mainly muslims are gathered in front of the SIOE demonstration and they stop people to attend the demonstration.

If you are on your way to the demo, don’t go, it’s being called off right now. The police can’t handle the muslim counter demonstraters. The senior sergent said that he doesn’t want any of his policemen killed.

Proof that these anti-racist groups are clueless - here is the leaflet for the United Against Fascism (UAF) - which was meant to be for a protest against Stop the Islamisation of Europe - notice it says "No to the BNP !!"

The danger is that these Leftist groups are getting used by the Islamic groups with a more radical agenda. To prove it Reuters reports that 1000 people turned up to protest against SIOE - and that they were from a group calling themselves United Against Fascism - question is how many of those Muslim youths turned up to be a part of the UAF protest?

Here's what one said:

Mahmood Abdullah, a 17-year old student had travelled up from Morden, south London. "We don't want to start a fight but we're willing to defend our brothers and sisters if we have to," he said. "We want to show them that for every protestor they bring, we'll bring ten."

Compare that to the report from Channel 4 - says Muslims have become afraid!! But aren't these the same guys - with the same ideology who are blowing themselves up around the world !!

LONDON (Reuters) - British police said on Friday they had arrested eight people after an anti-Islamic protest outside a mosque in northwest London turned violent.

As supporters of a group calling itself Stop Islamisation of Europe gathered outside Harrow Central Mosque about 1,000 counter demonstrators turned up outside the mosque, some of whom police said belonged to a group called United Against Fascism.

Police made the arrests for possession of offensive weapons and breaching the peace after bricks and bottles were thrown at officers. Items recovered include bottles of bleach, a hammer and a chisel, they said.

Live television pictures showed lines of police separating the two opposing groups who taunted each other.
